OUR STORY

Eskimo is now EKO

Since 2001, we have been known as Eskimo — a name that helped us challenge the heating industry with design-led radiators, intelligent electric systems, and a determination to do things better.

Today, we are moving forward as EKO.

This change represents more than a brand refresh. It reflects the world we live and work in — one where cultural sensitivity matters, and where conversations with our customers helped us recognise that it was time to evolve.

But EKO also represents what we have become.

The name echoes our belief that the journey towards low-carbon living is not one we take alone. Meaningful progress happens through collaboration — with architects, engineers, developers, specifiers, customers, and businesses that share our ambition for smarter, cleaner heating.

Increasingly, our partners are not simply buying what we make. They are working alongside us to co-develop, integrate, and accelerate meaningful change.

We remain proud to manufacture in the UK — not only because it gives us greater control over quality, but because it helps reduce the carbon impact of what we produce.

For years, we have worked with highly skilled SME specialists across the country, keeping our supply chain local, precise, and lower impact. That spirit of collaboration and craftsmanship has always set us apart, and it remains fundamental to who we are.

As EKO, we are building on that foundation. We will continue working with our trusted and growing UK network while connecting with like-minded partners around the world who share our ambition to decarbonise heat.

Wherever that mission echoes, we want to be part of it.

The name is changing. What matters is not.

Our products, team, and customer service remain exactly as you know them.

Our factory remains proudly ours in Birmingham.

And our commitment to THERMAL FLEXIBILITY, that offers clever solutions that complement every heating system

You will begin to see EKO across our website, communications, packaging, and product materials. All existing Eskimo links and customer touchpoints will remain active throughout the transition.

And yes, it is pronounced “echo.”

But if you say “eco,” we will not hold it against you. Honestly, both feel right.

Low carbon. Loud impact.

We are excited to move forward as EKO and to continue doing what we have always done best:

Love making heat.
